Operation Christmas Child – A Simple Shoebox

     This ministry was started in 1994 by Franklin Graham. It is an outreach project to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world.  

     The Chapel has been involved since 2000. It begins with a simple shoebox that is filled with hygiene items, school supplies, toys, stuffed animals, candy, and most importantly, a book printed in the language of the country where the shoebox is going. This book tells of the Greatest Gift ever given – Jesus Christ! This book will reach 15 people with the Good News that Jesus Christ died for their sins and wants a personal relationship with them.

     It is a privilege to be involved in this ministry of spreading the message of GOD’s love and grace to the world by filling a simple shoebox.
